SAVE THE GREEN TURTLES

Baby turtles are born on land but quickly go into water. Adult turtles have living tissue in their shell which has two layers. Turtles eat plants and fish.
Green Turtles live in the ocean near the coast. Green Turtles live everywhere in deserts, forests, grasslands, lakes, marshes, rivers, seas, and ponds. Green Turtles also can not live in cold places.
WHY IS THE GREEN TURTLE ENDANGERED
The Green Turtle is endangered because people hunt for their food, shells, and eggs. People also in RI build over their Habitat. People catch them. Hawaiian people use them for medicine. Also their ocean has a lot of pollution in it.
WHAT PEOPLE CAN DO TO SAVE THE GREEN TURTLES
Some people can raise them as pets to save them. People can stop hunting. Stop gathering their eggs. Stop catching them.
