Science, Common Sense, and the Sacred

July 13-16 & July 20-23

7:00-8:00 p.m.

Jonathan Lunine, Chair of the Astronomy Department at Cornell and vice-president of the Society of Catholic Scientists will conduct a two-week short course titled “Science, Common Sense, and the Sacred: Understanding the Relationship of Science and Faith." The course will have eight one-hour online (Zoom) sessions. Each session will be self-contained, with time for questions in each session. Join one or all the sessions, as time permits. Young Adult Bible Study


7:30 p.m.

Individuals 18-35 are invited to a Bible study organized by the Auburn area young adult ministry. Read/discuss passages from the Bible and Church documents while enjoying fellowship with other young adults. For more information, please click here.

Parking Lots & Patron(esse)s- COMING THIS SUMMER!

Interested in knowing more about the saints? Do you like history? Want to get out of the house? Join us for our Parking Lots & Patron(esse)s Series. We'll gather in the parking lots of several different parishes over the course of the summer to learn about the parish, its history, and their patron/patroness. We hope to live-stream the gatherings for those not able to join us. Stay tuned for more information!

The Cardinal Bernardin New Leadership Award

Are you or do you know a young faith-filled Catholic between the ages of 18-40 who has demonstrated leadership against poverty and injustice in the United States? The Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) honors an individual between the age of 18 and 40 each year who demonstrates leadership in fighting poverty and injustice in the United States through community-based solutions with the Cardinal Bernardin New Leadership Award.
