Creative strategies for reading in the secondary classroom

Students in the Education an Training classes at BCTAL have been reading Wonder by R. J. Palacio. After each reading installment and discussion, students are given a creative strategy to check for their understanding and deeper meaning along with extension resources to add to their reading enjoyment. This is a book the students like reading and it also incorporates the BISD CORE (Community of Respect Everywhere) values as well.
