A Message From Dr. Ricks
I am amazed that we have only two days before the Thanksgiving Holiday! The second quarter always moves particularly quickly, but this year seems to be whizzing by even faster than usual. I know that several of you will be visiting family, so I extend prayers and thoughts for safe travels.
I am so proud of our Middle School girls' Soccer team who celebrated their first win against Ruston Jr. High this week. These girls have worked so hard all season, and what an accomplishment to finish strong. I am also proud of several Grace alumni who were honored today at the Neville Renaissance Honors Assembly. All three Distinguished Student of the Month recipients (honoring character and academic excellence) were former GES students. Congratulations to Margaret Ann Zentner, Jordan Sanders, and Lucy Sartor for continuing to represent Grace even after graduation!
Thursday through Saturday, Father Richard and I will all be attending the National Association of Episcopal Schools Biennial Conference. This is always a terrific conference with workshops in topics ranging from worship, to parish-school relations, to school finances, and curriculum. It is exciting for us to be able to learn from our peers as well as share our experience and expertise with other schools.
Once again, best wishes for a safe and happy holiday. See you in December!
Warmly,
Dr. Beth J. Ricks
