How did Robinson Change Society?

Robinson changed society by being the first African American to play in the major leagues. Jackie was also the first African American television analyst. He also had a impact on civil rights. Some people on different teams called him horrible names. Teams also gave threats to hurt his family.

How was Jackie Robinson a Role model?

Robinson was a role model because he encouraged kids of all races that are bullied not to be scared of bigger kids because there were bigger teams that made fun of him.

How did he change Society? Part 2

Robinson ended racial segregation since the 1800s. Jackie broke the color barrier when he started playing for the Brooklyn Dodgers. He was inducted into the baseball hall of fame. That was not only for the sport but also for civil rights. He was also the first African-American to play in the major leagues.

What were his Teams?

Robinson's teams were the Brooklyn Dodgers and the Kansas City Monarchs. The Kansas City Monarchs were a negro league team.

The holiday should be on January 31st. That is when Jackie Robinson was born in Cario, Georgia.
