3 types of communication
General communication is used on a daily basis. It will mold the day. This can be effected by the visual elements such as body language and gestures. The vocal and verbal side can use different tones of voice different pitches and is took by people different depending on the volume. overall it's just how your message comes across. The message may not be understood if it comes across in the wrong manner. An example of this would be if someone was speaking in the wrong tone of voice this could confuse the receiver as they may confuse positive for negative. This would mean the person could adjust the language to be more positive or use a more up beat tone in their voice.
Examples of general:body language,verbal language used-formal/informal.
This type of communication comes when you are face to face with someone. The skill is to make them understand what you mean and for you to able to understand them regardless of differences. A good example is when someone may be def the other person may get past this barrier by speaking slower and using less complex words this will allow the def person to read or if the other person knows sign language they can use that.
Examples of interpersonal skills:tone of voice,informal/formal language,gestures.
Written communication is mostly used over letter on via email. This means it will be being sent. The idea is for the other person to understand what you mean in that message alone. A problem with this could be if say the person blind you will be able to get around this by sending a letter in braille that way they could read it. You could also allow someone read it out loud once they have received it.
examples of written: language used,grammar,punctuation,format.
