Skyview Upper Elementary School
From the Principal's Desk
We have been excited over the first few weeks of school to recognize students as being PILLARIFIC. This recognition is similar to a "caught doing something good" and is a way for staff to recognize great student behavior in the pillar areas. Teachers turn in pillarific slips and student names are announced in the morning. Students come to the main lobby to sign our character counts scrolls. Check out the picture below of one of our first groups of Pillarific Skyview Students!
I hope everyone has enjoyed meeting the Skyview staff at meet-the- teacher nights. We are all looking forward to working together to help our 5th and 6th graders have a successful year!

Home and School E-Alerts
The Skyview Home and School Association uses the eAlert system to relay important news and information to families. This is NOT the School Messenger system. The School Messenger system is used by the district to convey information of a more urgent nature – school closings, delays, etc. Registration in the School Messenger system does not automatically include you in the E-Alert system - eAlert registration needs to be completed by a family member. Additionally, eAlert subscriptions do not follow you from building to building. If you were signed up for eAlerts at your elementary school, you need to change your subscriptions to be sure you get Skyview eAlerts.
Please take a moment to check that you are registered. eAlerts have been coming out weekly since the start of school - if you are not receiving them, you are not registered!
