Union Chapel Gator Gab
September 2021 Parent Newsletter
Keeping Our Gators Safe
Should you need to pick up your child for early dismissal, please come to the office door and buzz the doorbell. Mrs. Sadler, Mrs. Burch, or Mrs. Rezac will call the classroom. ALL ADULTS will be asked to present verification of ID which will be verified via our Information System, Infinite Campus, prior to your child leaving the building. Of course, where possible, please schedule appointments before or after school to prevent interrupting your child’s learning.
Clubs at Union Chapel
Union Chapel is pleased to offer clubs this school year! Clubs are a great way to get your child(ren) involved in an activity that interests them. This also allows our staff (both certified and classified) to bring their interests and talents to the school setting for our students to learn new hobbies or skills. Additionally, clubs are a great way to strengthen relationships among staff and students.
Please be on the lookout for information about specific club opportunities to come home with your child(ren) on Friday, September 17th. All permission forms will need to be turned in by Friday, September 24th. Clubs are intended to begin the week of September 27th. Union Chapel will follow the Five Pillars of Prevention during clubs. Please note that specifics about clubs could change based on updated requirements from the Platte County Health Department.

The dental care will be provided at Union Chapel from October 4 through October 26. All care is provided by a licensed dentist and assistants. Miles of Smiles treats children from the ages of 3 to 18, and all of their patients receive a comprehensive exam, cleaning and x-rays.
Please register ASAP to ensure your child can be seen by the dentist at Union Chapel. We highly encourage online registration, which can be found at this link: https://levelupkidsinc.org/patientinfo Please contact Ellie Logan (816-359-5733) or Karen Schaff (816-359-6175) if you have any questions or need help registering your child.
