The Roadrunner Review

November 4th, 2022

Notes from the Principal

We had a wonderful celebration last Tuesday after reaching our goal of 10,000 Roadrunner Riches! Classrooms met with their buddy room and together they "synerigzed" to create a pumpkin work of art. Check out the pictures below!

November's Goal

This month, our goal is being organized and led by our first graders! They have chosen to focus on helping our community by collecting 500 items to donate to the Neighbor's Place. So far, we have collected 142 items! We are well on our way to meeting our goal. We will continue to fill in our calendar and if you wish to donate, please send items to school with your children.

Notes From The Health Office

Should your child become ill Please follow these guidelines from The Wausau School District:

  • Please know masks are optional within the district. If you would like to send your child to school with a mask you are welcome to do so.
  • If your child is sick ( Covid - 19 or something else) , please keep them home
  • If your child is showing Covid -19 symptoms , we recommend they get tested. We accept PCR, Rapid Antigen and Home tests.
  • If the test comes back negative, they can return to school when they are fever free for 24 hours without medication and improved symptoms.
  • If they test positive , we recommend that they quarantine for five days from onset of symptoms.

If positive the first day of their symptoms is considered Day 0. Once five days have passed, they are cleared to return to school on Day 6. When they return, we recommend they wear a mask until Day 10.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Thank you,
