Should Donald Trump be President?

Not unless you have a death wish

Donald Trump. The ugliest man alive. Before you go make conclusions about my opinion, just hear me out. I didn't necessarily mean by his appearance, but he isn't exactly appealing to the eyes or attractive in any shape or form. I meant by his awful personality and despicable attitude that has been sadly seen by the world. It has been three months since the presidential elections have begun and "The Donald" has managed to offend 10 different groups of people. How that's possible? I don't know. His offensive comments and stupidity has led to some people wanting his head on a stick and others rioting against him. But this isn't the worst of it.

The amount of immigrants who have come to America has gradually increased over the years. Since the second quarter of 2014, over 1.7 million immigrants have come here for refuge and better opportunities- the nation's immigrant population hitting a record high of 42.1 million this year. Illegal immigration is becoming more and more common in the U.S. In 2014, there were 11.3 million unauthorized immigrants in America. Illegal immigrants currently make up 3.5% of the nation's population. Donald Trump, the ignorant mess of a "man", has made up a plan that will affect millions, if not thousands, of people. He wants to deport every Mexican illegal immigrant in U.S back to where they came from. After that, He wants to build a wall between Mexico and the southern part of the U.S to stop the flow of unauthorized immigrants. To make his plan even crazier, he wants Mexico to BUILD the wall and PAY for it as well. He's clearly delusional if he believes his plan will work. Surprisingly, His own mother and father aren't even white Americans. His mother is a Scottish immigrant while his father's parents were German immigrants. Even though they weren't illegals, he isn't from here. So before he decides to deport all of the unauthorized immigrants of America, he should go back to where he came from because he surely wont be missed on this end. But that's if his home country ACTUALLY wants him back.

Donald Trump announced his presidential campaign on June 16, 2015 via press conference and twitter. At first, most people thought he was joking. Compared to other candidates, his resume was a complete joke. There were tons of senators and governors running for the position of President. But when a Beauty Pageant Manager and reality TV star like Trump says he's running, It makes the campaign look like silly debate game. One of Donald's favorite arguments in favor of himself is that his business successes make him perfectly suited for Oval Office but that's clearly a lie. He tends to brag about his net worth of 4 billion, his negotiating skills, and his contract overseas. But there's little reason or evidence to believe that these things would actually help him as president. His small resume proves that he is incapable of running this country. Things like being born into wealth and being a job creator for Bankruptcy lawyers is what he believes to be "qualities of a President". When he announced that he was running, he claimed that" We need somebody that will literally take this country and make it great again. We can do that". Apparently, He's that somebody. His huge ego doesn't his resume in any way. You'd think that someone so invested in himself would have a better track record and more respectable previous jobs. But boy, was I wrong.

Donald Trump is widely known for his salty comments and disrespect for several groups of people. From making fun of a disabled man by imitating him to making sexist comments to Megyn Kelly, he doesn't seem to be the role model of a candidate. He seems to believe that since he is rich and doesn't need any sponsors to help with the costs of his presidential campaign, that he has the right to say what he wants even if it can potentially offend other people. One of his snarky comments was that he didn't believe that Obama was eligible to continue being the President of the United states because he believed that Obama was born in Kenya instead of Hawaii and that he was a muslim. Of course, Donald was horribly wrong and got what he deserved when Obama mocked him in front of at the White House Correspondence Dinner. His tweets about other president candidates have persuaded people that he isn't the right one for them. It seems to be that he has no filter and doesn't know when to shut his mouth. That's one lesson he could have learned before running for President.

From Donald's Immigration plan to his respect issues, he's probably the worst presidential candidate running. But the people are not thinking the same way I am. Donald Trump has 30% of the votes right now. That may seem small but he that's the highest out of all 14 candidates. The only good thing about him is that he has money but there's no way of knowing if that'll be helpful in the long run. Donald Trump is racist know it all who will probably turn out being the new and improved Hitler. I don't want that type of president for the next 4 years of my life and I'm pretty sure you don't either. I hope I've convinced you that Donald Trump is anything but good and fair.
