Reflections from Ms. Williams
WBMS Parents and Guardians –
This week we hosted our first “House Parties” during Compass, and they were super fun. We are always working to become better than before; thus, we want to continue to enhance our Compass program. This year our Compass classes are separated into nine houses with classes from each grade level. Periodically, these Compass classes, or houses, will gather together so students have an opportunity to meet and bond with students in other grade levels. Our goal is to create as many strong communities within our school as possible. Our first house parties focused on learning through play and were led by our 8th grade WEB Leaders. Students engaged in games, laughed, and met new people. They were also introduced to our value word of the month – INTEGRITY. Please help us by reinforcing the importance of this attribute, doing what is right or just even when no one else is watching. We also celebrated our 140 new-to-the-WBMS-community students this morning. The word is out – WBMS is the place to learn and grow, and families are telling us as they register that they are moving to this area because of our school community. WOW! What a wonderful complement to our students, staff, and parents! Thank you for all you do to make Webb Bridge a very special place. Enjoy your weekend!
