A Community Celebration for our Graduating Wildcats 🎓
The Oak Harbor community is invited to celebrate our class of 2023 at the upcoming Friday Night Lights starting at 8 p.m. on June 2. The processional will begin in downtown Oak Harbor and end at Oak Harbor High School via Midway Blvd and Whidbey Avenue. Coming Soon: ParentSquare & New Website!
As we previously shared, beginning on July 1, Oak Harbor Public Schools will be utilizing ParentSquare for school to home communication. In addition to school-wide communication, ParentSquare can also be used for direct messaging between teachers, staff, students and families.
By unifying multiple tools into one platform, ParentSquare provides an improved and seamless experience for parents/guardians and staff and reduces costs associated with multiple vendors. Parents/guardians will be able to keep track of news, activities and events from their student’s schools in one place.
As we continue to integrate all of our communication tools, we will also be transitioning to new websites on July 1! Based on your feedback in our website survey earlier this year, our new websites will have:
- Improved navigation
- Easier access to content families need
- Fresh style and look
If you have any questions about the transition to ParentSquare or our new websites coming soon, please reach out to the communications department at briefs@ohsd.net.
We're excited to share engaging and exciting summer activities to keep students active, healthy, and learning. Opportunities include OHHS' popular youth athletics camps, magic camp, horse camp, dance and movement, music and band, and more!

Oak Harbor High School Hosts Skilled Trades Fair
Oak Harbor High School held its 2nd Annual Skilled Trades Fair on Tuesday. This was a great opportunity for students to get hands-on opportunities and to see tools used in various trades and to talk with people in the trade. Some of the exhibitors had summer jobs and future career opportunities available. We are very grateful to our exhibitors who took time away from their work schedules to share their expertise and opportunities with our students.
