Color: White, salmon colored, rose breast are pink and gray, also can have yellow and black feathers

Weight: 3.2 oz

Fluffiness: When they go to sleep they spread there wings out making the feathers look fluffy


They could talk to you if your lonely or you could train them to tell you which way to go if you have disabilities.

Some times they become snippy causing owners to interact less with them but if you want them to stay happy, you need to interact with them at least 1 hour a day, daily. and if you don't want to play with them, then you can give them a toy that they can shred with because they love to tear and rip things up with their beaks


Food: Formulated- food- based diet which is pellets, sometimes you can give them fruit and vegetables and occasionally nuts or seeds in the diet.

Space: A cage that is 24 inch deep and 36 inch wide for smaller parrot ,but if you have a larger one, then its recommended to get 30 inch deep and 48 inch wide

Health: Some diseases that pet owner might be concern about is aspergillosis, which is a fungal disease that often affects the respiratory system. It could be avoided by keeping them inside. Another disease is the feather disease, which is caused by circovirus that attacks the cells in the immune system and the cells that produce the beak and feathers.

Habitat: Dry land in Australia to humid forest in Indonesia

Grooming: For a healthy bird it will take care of it own feathers, feet,and beaks.


They are very cuddly and bond very close to their owners. But because of their sociability and need for attention, they demand a great amount of time with there owner. If you don't pay attention to them they will become depressed or experience neurotic behavior.


A man named Terry said his parrot Tasha is so protective of him that she won't let his wife come near him in his office if she's out of her cage. While they were cleaning and moving the cage around, she bit Jean, his wife, and left a very painful and sore finger.

They become even more protective while their in breeding mode.
