October Principal News

October 1, 2020

Hello Heritage Intermediate Families!

Dear Heritage Families,

It has been a joy getting to know all of your kids and the community in the first five weeks of school. You sure have some great kids! If you ever drop off or pick up in the mornings and afternoons do not hesitate to wave and introduce yourself. I look forward to getting to know you throughout the school year. So far, I've already been reunited with a former co-worker and a friend of a friend in the pickup line. It has been wonderful to connect!

As you know, the Wentzville School Board has voted for all students to attend five days a week beginning on October 19. We are working on a plan to make sure that students are safe in Level 1, where they will be socially distanced as much as possible. We look forward to everyone back together every day of the week. Please look for information coming from your child's classroom teacher about virtual parent/teacher conferences and how we will collect the chromebooks to get them back into classrooms for the second quarter.

We appreciate all you have done and will do in the next three weeks to accommodate the hybrid learning model in the first quarter. It's been a difficult year for everyone and I hope that October 19 is the start of something solid, normal, and routine for all of us.

In Partnership,

Jodi Oliver
