Miscoe Hill News
September 9th, 2020
Preparing for the 2020–2021 school year has been a collaborative effort among students, staff, families, and our community. There have been many changes and adjustments but we know that, as a community, we will rise to the challenges this school year may bring.
The school year begins remotely on Wednesday, Sept. 16th (please see the remote/hybrid schedule below).
If you have any questions, please let us know. We are so excited to meet your children and will support them (and you) in any way we can!

Updated Supply List
Due to the recent development of starting the year in remote-learning and then phasing into the hybrid model, we updated the original list you received back in June. You will find some additional items that will help support your child’s progress while in the remote/hybrid model, along with the basic, necessary supplies used to start any year. These items are marked with an '*' next to them. The remainder of the supplies may/can be used in the event of a full, in-school model (along with the additional items). Click HERE or the link below for the updated list.

Miscoe Hill Fall Sports
Recently, the School Committee approved sports for Miscoe Hill and Nipmuc.
At the middle school level this year, we will only have cross country available for 7th and 8th graders due to a number of restrictions. We will have a boys team that will consist of 24 athletes coached by Bill McInnis and a girls team with 24 athletes coached by Meagan Pike. Unfortunately, there will be no soccer or field hockey. We will attempt to run girls volleyball in the fall, which begins February 22nd.
Students in the 7th and 8th-grade also have the option to compete at the High School. If some of you compete at the high school it will open up opportunities for others to compete at the middle school. This is your choice. Miscoe Hill fall sports registration is now open! Please click HERE for registration.
