How Many? What's Next?
If your students liked the How Many? picture prompts and are ready for the next level, let's nudge their thinking with some arrays. Hopefully, they will begin noticing groups of objects and shift from counting by ones to seeing 2's, 5's, and 10's. We can also nudge students to see fractions! Here's a collection of array photos. Essential Elements Middle School
We're going to have our pilot curriculum covering the Essential elements for grades 6-8 ready by the end of the month. If you'd like to be on the team, please register using this Google form. You are obligated to anything by adding your name. We'll just send you invitations to view materials and provide feedback when you're able. HS will be the next target in 2020.
