School Assembly
Montgomery County Public Schools, Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office, and the Montgomery County Police Department have partnered to educate our high school students on how to keep schools and students safe. As a result of this partnership, the State’s Attorney’s office will be providing informational sessions to all MCPS high schools to raise awareness, increase knowledge of, and educate on gun violence. On Monday, October 17th, we will have a special presentation to all students. This presentation will be discussing the rise of gun violence and important steps we can all take to ensure the safety of ourselves and our school. We will have a modified Advisory Bell schedule to ensure limited loss of instructional time.
