AI in the Classroom
November 28, 2023
What is AI?
AI, or artificial intelligence, refers to the simulation of human intelligence in machines that are programmed to think and learn like humans. The goal of AI is to create systems that can perform tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and language translation.
AI is here to stay and it's up to us as educators to create new ways of learning, recreate and rethink the way we assign assignments, and more. Even though our technology is ever changing, one thing remains constant... That is, the human qualities that technology cannot replace- empathy, compassion, and relationships with our students.
Curipod
Curipod creates interactive lessons by teachers inputting a topic for the lesson, what grade level, and what the learning objective is. Once teachers have filled out that information, Curipod will create a lesson. Teachers can go back through the lessons and add specific activities to each slide.
