If you want to be an architectural engineer and you're coming straight out of college, you will be paid about $51,230 per year. On the other hand, if you have about 9-10 years of experience, you get paid about $74,000 a year.

I believe that there is a demand for this job in the future because studies show that the working field of architectural engineers is growing faster than usual, which is believed to continue growing.
What type of education is needed for this type of work?
You will need a high school diploma with a strong foundation in math and science, you will need to take biology, physics, chemistry, geometry, trigonometry and algebra. The knowledge of high school calculus will make you better prepared for college-level math and engineering classes. You will also need to take computer science, social studies, English and humanities. You only need a bachelor’s degree to begin work as an architectural engineer, but a graduate’s degree would allow you to make more money, supervise other engineers, and grow to higher positions.

I think that engineers will have a large impact on my future because engineers create and design almost everything that is man-made.

I wouldn't be interested in pursuing a career in engineering because I enjoy designing interior rooms, but I don't enjoy figuring out the electrical and/or temperatures that each room must be for complete satisfaction.
