Planks and Rationales
-This community does not have a lot of money and lives on fixed incomes. If the budget for governments could be changed and made more accountable then the population of this community might be eligible to earn more money or for example have better health care.
2. Reduce taxes to grow economy and jobs
-Taxes “reduce a citizen’s freedom”. The republicans would like to extend the 2001 and 2003 tax relief packages so that tax rates wont rise on interest, income, dividends, and capital gains. By doing this the population in this community would have more money to spend on other things that they desired instead of having higher taxes to pay.
3. Rebuilding homes
- Federal governments enforce non-discrimination laws and also assisting low-income families and the elderly with proper shelter while using housing vouchers. The population in this community benefits from this already and would continue to benefit from this since most of the community is low-income.4. Ending the housing crisis to expand opportunity for homeownership
-The American Dream” is what everybody strives to achieve in their life. Most people in this community do not own homes they mostly rent. The population would benefit from this so that more people could own homes instead of just renting, by doing this the people of this community would have something that they could actually call “home” instead of just living in a house that they rent.
