I am thrilled to have been able to return back to work this past week! It has been a joy to see all of the students and staff. Three weeks was a long time to be out! Your student was so kind and caring. I received "gentle" hugs and many students continued to check on me throughout the whole week. I have to wear a neck brace for a little while longer and the kids have been mesmerized by the brace. I had so many sweet questions and well wishes all week long.
It's hard to believe we only have 24 1/2 days (including weekends) left of the school year!! That's really only 18 1/2 school days! It seems so hard for our kids to stay focused on the end of the school year when summer is so close. Keep the school year in focus while anticipating the fun times to come with this fun end of the school year countdown. Check out this fun Summer Fun Pack and help your child reflect on their school year, and celebrate the achievements they made this year. (credit: Julie Ann, More Excellent Me blog)

Book Drive April 15 - May 6
In honor of National Library Month, Keller ISD schools are collecting new and gently used books for our Summer Book Bus. Last year several Librarians drove our Book Bus around Keller ISD areas and allowed kids to get books for free over the summer and we will be doing the same thing this year! If you have any books that you would like to donate, please bring them to Mrs. Bennett. We will be collecting them through the end of April and first part of May.
