SOME GREAT BASKETBALL PLAYED BY OUR TRINITY TEAMS THIS PAST WEEKEND!
GIRLS B TEAM:
The Trinity Girl’s B team was in action over the weekend at the Trinity Caledonia Tournament. After coming out strong in their first game against Zion, South Milwaukee they came up against a very good WLS, Racine team. After a hard loss in the semi-finals to WLS, they went on to defeat St. John’s, Racine 15-10 to take third place. Overall it was a great team effort in the third place game, led by Lucy and Gillian shutting down the point guard for St. John’s. Lucy led the scoring with 7 points while Brianne dominated under the basket with 11 rebounds and 4 steals. Great job ladies!
GIRLS A TEAM RESULTS:
Congratulations to our Trinity Girls A team! The girls took to the hardwood this past weekend to battle it out in the St. Paul’s 26th Annual Lake Shore Basketball Tournament. After a very strong team performance Saturday winning both games, they would find the Sunday championship game to be more of a challenge. With a strong start and a brief stumble, our Lady Trojans finished strong and took the championship! Truly a TEAM effort.
MESSAGE FROM THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF WAUKESHA'S NURSING STAFF:
As you may be aware, there has been a significant increase in the number of flu cases reported in the community. If your child has a fever of 100.0 or greater, please keep your child home from school. If the fever goes down after receiving fever-reducing medication such as Motrin or Tylenol, the child should still not come to school. The student must be fever free for 24 hours, without the use of fever reducing medications, prior to returning to school. We ask that you please report influenza like illness to the school office promptly. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter as we try to ensure the health and well-being of everyone in our school community.
