Loudoun County Youth Net Survey
Survey Deadline: June 30, 2019
Loudoun County Launches Youth Net Initiative Survey
Loudoun County is asking young people, their parents and individuals who interact with youth for suggestions on how to improve youth services and activities by taking part in a brief survey. The survey results will help the county as it works to develop high quality, inclusive activities for Loudoun’s youth.
In an effort to take a holistic approach to youth services in Loudoun, the county established a Youth Net Committee that includes more than 20 individuals representing government, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, philanthropy, business and youth. The goal is to create a more formalized and structured public-private approach to youth services in Loudoun. This coordinated, community-based effort is designed to help Loudoun's young people become more engaged, resourceful and resilient.
In addition to conducting the survey, the Youth Net Committee plans to hold a Youth Summit in 2019, followed by a presentation of findings, concerns and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors in the fall of 2019.
The survey will be active through June 30, 2019. More information, including a link to the survey, is available at loudoun.gov/youthnet.
