Updated Screening Procedures

As a response to the everchanging Covid Playbook, we will not be screening students at the door as they enter. Parents will be asked to screen students prior to arrival at school. In summary, parents will check to see how their child is feeling prior to sending them to school. If there are any symptoms, you will not send them. If students display any symptoms while at school or at home, the same procedure of staying home 10 days, or getting a medical clearance or a Covid test still remain in place. It is important to call the school when your child is absent!

Hello Chester Families,

Great things are going on at CES! So far, our Read-A-Thon raised over $2,000! Both goals of supporting our PTA and getting kids reading are successful, a win-win! The reading frenzy continues in the month of March. The classes are participating in March Book Madness this month. Much like a "March Madness" basketball bracket, we are reading and voting on 8 books school wide. At the end of March, we will announce our 2021 March Book Madness winner for CES. See the image below to view our books. Ask your kids what book they heard each day. It is a great conversation starter!

Our Mountain Kids are doing such a great job everyday, smiles and the buzz of learning all around!

Stay Well,

Colly Fischer
