Dinner with the Deans
Hey App Ed!
It's PR and Social Committee with another exciting email coming your way! It's that time of year again... Dinner with the Deans! We are having dinner with the Deans of the Reich College of Education Wednesday of next week, October 17th. That's right, multiple Deans from RCOE will be joining our dinner this year! We are super excited for this upcoming event, and can't wait for this opportunity to socialize with the Deans. In order to prepare for this event, we have a few announcements to share.
This is a quick reminder that the required dress code for the dinner with the Deans isbusiness casual! Please keep in mind the audience you will be around when choosing your attire. Visit the image attached here for an idea of the proper clothing to wear. Let's try to represent Appalachian and App Ed the best we can!
Have a lot of extra meal plan money? Why not donate some chicken nugget trays to the event! Chicken nugget trays would be extremely helpful in feeding the crowd and getting rid of excess meal plan! We would be appreciative of anyone willing to donate in this way.
Last up, food donations. While it is not required to bring food in order to come to dinner with the Deans, helping with food supply in any way would be greatly appreciated! We will need drinks, entrees, sides, and some desserts for the event and encourage donating if possible. For the entrees and sides, we recommend bringing covered dishes that way we can have a diverse selection. We also ask that everyone labels their foods for ingredients with possible allergies if applicable! Below we have attached a Google Spreadsheet for food sign up information. Get your responses in ASAP, and we can't wait to see everyone there! Thank you for helping out!
