Rising Star Once Again.....
The year has just started, but for Courtney Schonell in year 12, it has been an exciting one so far. During the holidays whilst everyone was relaxing, Courtney’s hockey training schedule did not slow down as she was training for the u18s National team that will be heading to Launceston next month to compete. Along with this, Courtney made the Junior National u21s Australian squad that will be traveling later on in the year.
If these achievements were not enough, Courtney is also heading to the Gold Coast for the Pre Commonwealth Games in April. She will be competing against teams from Malaysia, Wales and Scotland. This is such a great achievement which we are fortunate enough to be able to share with Courtney, and as a College we cannot wait to hear all about her time away representing Australia.
We wish her all the very best of luck and we look forward to hearing all about it when she returns in April.
