A Message from our Assistant Principal.......
I am so excited about all of the festivities and fun dress days next week, but mostly the sing-along next Friday morning. Please remember that next Friday is an early release day, so school gets out at 12:40. You can find the lunch schedule for that day below.
Also, Please be aware in the pickup and drop off lines. We have had several close calls over the past several days and we want to make sure that our bears arrive at school safely every day. Be mindful of students and faculty members crossing at the crosswalk. Remember that the school parking lot is a Cell Phone Free Zone!
Have a great weekend!
BEARy best wishes...

A Message from Nurse Abby.....
Happy Friday Bears!
I am noticing an increase in cold, coughs, and sore throats. Please encourage your child to drink plenty of water (send a refillable water bottle to school), blow their nose frequently, cover their cough/sneeze with their elbow and wash hands. If your child has diarrhea or vomit, without fever, they MUST stay home.
Please remember to follow our WISD policy for sick students. By keeping your child home, you are reducing the spread of germs that potentially cause illness. A student must be fever (100.0 or above), vomit and diarrhea free for 24 hours without the use of suppressing medications before returning to school.
Please remember to send a refillable water bottle to school with your child, and don’t forget your flu shot!
Stay Healthy,
Nurse Abby

A Message from our School Counselor......
Happy Friday Bears!
Looking for something else to get your child for Christmas? What about flannel or plaid? This would be a great way to prepare for our next Wylie Way Day in February. On February 6th we are asking everyone to wear flannel, plaid, or their best mountain gear! You have over a month to prepare for this fun day!
Parent Volunteers
Speaking of our next Wylie Way day... We would love to have parent volunteers to help us prepare and decorate for our Wylie Way Day the week of January 28-February 1. We need help with copies, preparing lesson supplies, and decorating. There will be a sign up genius available after we get back from break, so start thinking of ways that you can help!
Safety Patrol
We are looking for about 10 more 4th graders to join our Safety Patrol team. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Ray!
Current Safety Patrol Members- Please make sure you are here for you scheduled time. If it is cold or bad weather, you are to open the school doors for students to welcome them in. If you are unable to do Safety Patrol, please let me know. It is okay if it is not working out, but we just need to know. The next group is:
December 17-January 18- Safety Patrol (Green Group)
Upcoming Wylie Way Dates:
Wednesday, February 6- Wylie Way Day. " Journey to the Mountaintop"
Have a fabulous weekend!!
