Dear Parents and Guardians,
Hello! Progress reports are going out this week. Please make sure you are checking Skyward for current grades. If you see your student has missing assignments or 0's/low grades from missing assignments, they can still make it up this week! You can also go to Schoology on my English page and click on "Grades" on the left-hand side of the page to check for missing work. Please encourage your child to finish assignments in a timely manner. We are into our last week of STAAR Countdown practice and MAP review skills this week. The final MAP test for Reading will be May 4th (Math is May 5th and Science is May 6th). This is a very important test to tell us if your child is ready for promotion to the 6th grade. The Reading STAAR is also a good measurement and it will be the following week Reading May 12th-for in-person students, (and May 19th for online students Reading STAAR). Please mark your calendars, it is quickly approaching. All of these dates will be in the Class Story. Please remember to continue doing daily Exit Tickets by 11:59 pm to be counted present, and attendance does matter this year, per the State of Texas.
Please remember to check the dojo often and to let me know if you have any questions, or need anything. I am here to help.
Thank you for all you do!
