Coyote Reminders

New School Event Security Procedures

Beginning with football games this Friday, September 14th, Pasco County Schools will have new safety procedures in place for all sporting events. Only clear plastic , clear vinyl, and clear Ziploc bags will be permitted. Diaper bags, medically-necessary bags, and school/professional photographers’ camera bags will be allowed. No other bags of ANY kind will be permitted, including backpacks, fanny packs, purses and duffle bags. All bags are subject to search.

Assessment Information

FSA/EOC Retake & Make-Up Testing Continues this Week

The FSA ELA Reading Retake Session 1 and Session 2 will be administered on Monday and Tuesday for most students. The FSA Algebra 1 EOC Retake Session 1 and Session 2 will be administered on Wednesday and Thursday. To facilitate Individual Education Plan (IEP) accommodations, some students will test the FSA ELA or FSA Algebra 1 EOC on 9/25 and 9/26.

The US History EOC make-up assessment will be administered on Friday, 9/21. The Civics EOC make-up and Biology 1 EOCmake-up will be held the following Monday, 9/24. Students should check their FSA/NGSSS Assessment informational letter for their specific testing date, time and location.

Quarterly Checks – 1st Quarter Information

Quarterly Checks are right around the corner! MS courses that have a Quarterly Check will test during the week of 10/1-10/5 and HS courses that have a Quarterly Check will test during the week of 10/8-10/12.

QC’s will test as follows:

10/1-10/2 MS Social Studies & MS Math
10/3-10/4 MS ELA & MS Science

10/8-10/9 HS Social Studies & HS Math
10/10-10/11 HS ELA & HS Science
