PENNY WARS

Thank you, thank you!!

We had so much fun last week with our Penny Wars. A total of $3,361.60 was raised toward our new sound system! It was amazing to watch the kids check the board each day to see who was in the lead. It was fun to watch the totals change each day. The kids had a blast, and we are very grateful! Thank you parents for making this a success!

The class winners for the Silly String Battle were:

1st Place: Mrs. Nelson

2nd Place: Mrs. LeMmon

3rd Place: Mrs. Huston

Stand Strong Day

This Friday (and every first Friday) we will have Stand Strong Day. Stand Strong represents our school expectations for behavior and treatment of others. This day we will celebrate the ways we Stand Strong in mind (how we think and choose to treat others), body (how we physically take care of our bodies) and spirit (how we think about ourselves and others). Dress up on Friday in a way that shows how you choose to Stand Strong and take care of your body.

This day we will also recognize students from each class who Stand Strong by being safe, respectful or responsible. We will read their names over the intercom and recognize them with a certificate and small prize from the principal. Watch our web page for a picture of these Awesome Eagles!
