Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez

Early Life

Hernández was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco.He first played in a recreation league when he was seven years old. Hernández joined Las Chivas de Guadalajara at the age of nine and he was signed for his first professional contract when he was 15. He was set to play in the 2005 FIFA U-17 World, Chanpionship but an injury stopped hi fro playing with the team that won the championship.

Cultural Heritage

The cuisine is a mix of hispanic and spanish, like the rest of Mexico, but dishes in Guadalajara have their own flavors and are made with their own recipes. One of the main distinguishing dishes is Birria. This is goat or lamb meat cooked in a spicy sauce seasoned with chili peppers, ginger, cumin, black pepper, oregano and cloves.

Contribution to our society

Chicharito is a UNICEF National Ambassador for Mexico. The UNICEF is a United Nations Program that provides long-term humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countrys.

Famous Work

JAVIER Hernandez scored the winner two minutes from time as Real Madrid once again shattered Atletico Madrid’s Champions League dreams with a 1-0 win on aggregate to progress to the semi-finals. This was probably one of Chicharitos most important goal of his whole career.
