HARVEST FEAST
Students in grades K-2 and their families filled the cafeteria during our annual Harvest Feast. Students read poetry, sang songs and danced. Preformances were followed by a pot luck feast. It was heart-warming to see so many folks join together to prepare and enjoy the feast.

THANKSGIVING FOOD BASKETS
Thanksgiving is a special time to gather together, give thanks and enjoy a family meal. Students and staff generously donated food items to put together Thanksgiving baskets. Baskets were provided to families in our community in need of a little extra help this holiday season. Nurse Hall worked with members of our Student Council and PTG to organize and distribute food baskets.
ROYALSTON FIRE DEPARTMENT GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND
Upon hearing a student was upset when a ball became stuck on the school roof members of the Royalston Fire Department came to the rescue. We are lucky to live in a community where everyone helps out. It takes a village! Thank you.
RCS STUDENT COUNCIL
RCS student council members include Trevor, Melany, Brady, Emma, Logan, Jacob, Adam, Colin, Liberty, Jamieson, Zoe and Aby. Students campaigned, gave speeches and were elected by their classmates to serve as student representatives on our student council. Students are lucky to have Mrs. Burgquist-Darling as their student council advisor. During their first meeting, they discussed organizing school-wide events to build school spirit, fundraising, recycling, and ways to improve our school through community building. Members of the student council worked with Nurse Hall to help inventory food and sort baskets for our recent food drive.
6TH GRADE CUPCAKES
Nicholas's mom, Melissa Lamoureux, treated our sixth graders to an artistict and yummy treat. She designed individual cupcakes for students and teachers. Can you spot Mr. Snell and Mrs. Trask? Can you identify the sixth graders?
THIRD GRADE SELF-PORTRAITS
Working with Mrs. Magee, third grade students created self-portraits using cut paper collage techniques. Students worked to identify where facial features are located and their relative size. The also created a background that has meaning related to the portrait. See if you can identify any of our third grade students!
RCS T-SHIRT CONTEST
Earlier this year, our PTG held a t-shirt design contest. We have many talented artists in our school! The five finalists are pictures below and include: Emma, Nick, Alexandra, Alexis and Mylee. Mylee had the winning design! Order forms will be coming home soon.
