This Week At SHOJ

Report Cards
We appreciate your patience and apologize for the delay in making 1st quarter grade cards available.
It took a little extra time for us to get some of the grades finalized as we had a variety of class types (in-person and virtual) and some make-up work from absences we wanted to make sure was included in the 1st quarter as well.
You may or may not have seen an early version of your child’s report card via the portal last week. As I was not able to verify report cards until earlier this week, it may be possible that a grade has changed. Please know that very few adjustments were made, but some were needed.
Your child should have a paper copy of their report card this week. Also, the report card viewing option on the school portal will be active over the next few weeks. (I will be turning it off again when we near the end of the semester until semester grades are finalized.)
As always, if you have any questions, please reach out.
Pax Vobiscum!

There is a lot of talk about the winter months and case numbers. We need the holidays to rejuvenate our joy and faith, but we can't get distracted by the events and forget the long term goal of staying in school. Thanks to all who have taken precautions seriously and sacrificed for the good of all. | From Nurse Mary If you watch the news, you know how important our protocols are. Please be vigilant, especially when being social. Also, please get a flu shot to minimize other infections. This virus starts somewhere and spreads quickly. As you start planning holidays, please make sure to monitor KSDHE travel quarantine list (list of places that if you visit you need to quarantine 14 days when returning).
