The MJT Weekly
February 16th, 2024
What a fun week here at school!
This week was filled with exciting events! On Wednesday, classrooms celebrated Valentine's Day and friendship. Today was our 100th day of school! Can you believe that we are already more than halfway finished with this school year? Our first grade students, select 2nd grade students, and lots of staff members put on a 100th day parade through the entire school. Each class was waiting outside of their classroom to count everyone as they walked by. This morning we also had a wonderful performance by our high school jazz band. They played many songs, introduced themselves, let our students ask questions, and even had 3 MJT students participate in the last song using tambourines! It was a fantastic way to finish out the week leading up to our winter break. I hope everyone enjoys a happy, healthy break!
I wanted to extend a huge thank you to the all of the PTO parents who helped set up such a wonderful evening for the PreK-K Mini Prom! It was truly an incredible evening and many great memories were certainly made!
