Chili Cook-off & Silent Auction

Our biggest fundraiser of the year is just over a week away! Here’s everything you need to know about this spectacular event!


  • Buy them here on the Manning PTA website. Tickets are $10 each if purchased by midnight Wednesday, October 24th. They will be $15 at the door.

  • Buy tickets for parents, siblings, other family, and friends, but not your Manning students. Manning student tickets for the dance are purchased through your Jeffco Connect account.

  • The Chili Cook-off and Silent Auction together are Fall Fest. One ticket will access both events!


  • It will take many volunteers to make the evening a fun, successful event. If we share the work, we can all also enjoy the event.

  • Chili Cook-off Sign-up Genius – Use this sign-up to:

    • Enter a chili (there are a few spots left)

    • Volunteer to bring a dessert or drinks

    • Volunteer to take tickets or tally votes

  • Silent Auction Sign-up Genius – Use this sign-up to help with:

    • Set-up or clean-up

    • Checking out winners

    • Closing tables

    • We need several people in each of these roles, so please consider taking one. We will make sure you have time to look at items and bid!

Before the Event

  • View the Silent Auction Catalog – It’s amazing!!! There are over 300 items this year. A sampling:

    • Access Class Baskets

      • Has your student talked to you about their Access Class Basket? Ours, haven’t either Ask them about their class theme and what you can donate! The kids have been told about this in Access Classes.

    • Choose your Teacher

    • Pick your Locker

    • Photography gift certificate

    • Arvada Center tickets

    • Wine Pull

    • And so much more!

  • Pick up some cash! You can pay for winning items by cash, check or credit card the night of Fall Fest. But, you’ll need cash for the Wine Pull!

At the Event

  • If you purchase “tickets” ahead of time, we’ll have your name on a list at check-in. You will not receive a printed ticket.

  • You can buy tickets at the door for $15 each.

  • Taste Chili and vote – voting slips will be provided upon arrival and the Chili Cook-off will be in the cafeteria.

  • Check out all the fabulous Silent Auction items! They’ll be in the 8th grade hallway and the library.

  • You’ll be given a Bid Number at check-in to use at the Silent Auction

Tables will be color coded and will have staggered closing times (see the Silent Auction Catalog).
