CONSEQUENCES FOR JAPAN AND GERMANY
paying the price
GERMANY TAKING THE "L"
Besides the fact that Germany lost almost 11% of their entire population in the war, they also had to start all over. Allied planes would drop bombs on cities of Germany killing anyone in their way, thus making their troops defend their homeland. This caused many more deaths than once anticipated. Germany started out without a ton of money due to ww1, and ended ww2 with even less money. Germany had to pretty much start from scratch in rebuilding their country. Germany was split in two - half democracy and half communism. It was not until 1990 when communist power left and Germany reunited to make a democracy again.
