1:00-1:30pm--outdoor activity/ wildlife tracking

Purpose: Educational and Socialization
Learning Outcomes:
- Students will learn how winter weather has a profound effect on natural ecosystems.
- They will also learn more about winter weather and how it helps shape plant and animal communities through hands on activities.
- Science & Technology Standards Environmental & Ecology Standards Program can be offered at: Hands-on Activities Year-Round 3.1(A,B,C,D,E), 3.2(A,B,C), 3.4(A,B,C,D), 3.5(A,B,C,D), 3.7(A,B), 3.8(A) 4.1(A), 4.2(A,B,C), 4.3(A,B,C), 4.6(A,B,C), 4.8(A,B,C,D) .
- Through guided/hands on outdoor wildlife tracking, students will learn first hand what wildlife is indigenous to Pennsylvania and their specific behaviors during the winter months.
OLS hours: 90 minutes of science.

1: In consideration of our students with serious allergies, please refrain from bringing nut (food) products and balloons.
2: As always, to limit the spread of possible flu, please do not attend a PAVCS event if you have had a fever within 24 hours of the event.
