Regency Place Elementary School -- January 27, 2023
This week we celebrated 100 days of learning and many thanks go out to the MacArthur Brahama Baseball and Cheer for standing in the cold rain to welcome our students that morning. They also led our 100th Day Parade through the castle.
Speaking of the Brahama baseball team, their season is just around the corner and they would love community support. They're kicking it off with a Homerun Derby tomorrow and we hope some of our knights can head out to watch. See the flyer below for information and details.
Have you joined PTA yet? We are still sitting at 148 members, and we are working toward a goal of 250 members by February 15. PTA membership is not just limited to parents. Anyone can join! Aunts, uncles, students, grandparents, neighbors, community members, etc. are all invited to join. Membership is $6.50 and you can follow the link to pay online in seconds! Thank you for helping us give a voice to every child! Join Regency Place PTA
The Book Fair is HERE! It will be open from January 27 - February 3. Scholastic has promised lots of great new titles and plenty of books in both Spanish and English for ALL our amazing readers! You can check out just some of the great titles on our Scholastic book fair website.
The book fair will be open at 7:30 each day for parent shopping and students may visit anytime after announcements until 3:00. We will reopen the fair each day immediately after dismissal for an additional hour for parents and students to shop after school. Parents and grandparents are welcome to come have lunch with your student in our awesome courtyard and then find the perfect book at the book fair afterwards. Classroom lunch times begin at 10:45 and finish at 12:45. Contact your child's teacher for your specific lunch times. Not able to come to the book fair in person? Take advantage of the Scholastic E-Wallet to set up a cashless shopping account for your child. Share your child's unique account with loved ones far away so they can help your child purchase a book from the fair. No need to print anything out- Mrs. Fontana receives a notification when each account is funded. Set up your child's E-wallet
Additionally, if you would like to donate funds to help others purchase a book for their home library, Mrs. Fontana has set up an e-wallet for Regency Knight to help students who are sometimes short a few dollars to get the book they really want. You can donate through Mrs. Fontana's Regency Knight e-wallet
Thank you for sharing your children with us.

NEEF Gala
The North East Educational Foundation is only 5 weeks away from our Boots, Bling, and Big Dreams Gala and we hope you will join us on Saturday, March 4th at Pedrotti’s Ranch! This year’s western chic event is our largest fundraiser to help our district. Proceeds go towards fulfilling North East Educational Foundation’s philanthropic mission of raising funds to develop and expand educational opportunities for NEISD students. We cannot do this without our teachers, students, parents, and community. At the event, talent from each high school cluster will be showcased and we will raise a glass in our Toast to Teachers tribute. Look out during the last week of February where our silent auction items will open giving you a chance to start bidding for some amazing items such as tickets to sporting events, VIP parking to athletic events, gift baskets, and staycations – just to name a few!
Be sure to purchase your tickets now on our website at www.northeastfoundation.org/gala. Grab your cowboy hat and boots and we cannot wait to see you on March 4th!
