Google Expeditions
Last Monday, we took a virtual field trip to deserts around the world and under the sea using an amazing program called, Google Expeditions. This program is still being tested and we were one of the lucky schools chosen to test out this amazing new Google program. Please enjoy the pictures below of your children experiencing the program! :)
We're FAMOUS!!!
Last week, our class was used in a RTV-6 News report detailing the change in ISTEP results for the state of Indiana. Please watch the link below to see this report... you might see a familiar face!
Book Orders
Scholastic book forms went home last week. All orders are due on Friday, January 22nd. This is a great, easy way for your child to get some new books in their hands! There are some AWESOME books in this set of pamphlets! If you would like to place an order, you can fill out the order form attached to the form and send in cash or a check made out to Scholastic Book Clubs. You can also place an order online by using our class activation code: GNCJ3
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Box Top Contest
If you've been saving Box Tops for Education, now is the time to start sending them into school! We are having a contest until Friday, January 29th to see which class can collect the most Box Tops! If our class wins, we will receive a class treat! Also, if your box tops are neatly cut out, our class will receive double points! Thanks for your help with this contest! :)
Classroom Citizen of the Week
Congratulations to Thomas Cooper for being chosen as this week's outstanding Classroom Citizen! Thomas was chosen for the second time by his classmates for following procedures, being respectful, and helping other classmates. Well done, Thomas! :)
