As always, if you have a question or would like 1-on-1 assistance, please feel free to submit a Teaching Services Request through the GS MyHelp ticketing system. Happy Spring Semester!

FLC: Igniting the Spark: Undergraduate Student Scholars Through Inquiry-Based Learning
Undergraduate research has been regarded as one of the High-Impact Educational Practices (HIPS) that can increase the students’ involvement in active learning practices. The focus of this faculty learning community is to explore ways to promote and integrate inquiry-based learning in our courses that can help lead to an undergraduate student scholar culture.
Upon the successful conclusion of this FLC, participants will:
1- have developed an in-depth understanding of inquiry-based learning.
2- be able to integrate inquiry-based learning in their courses.
3- be able to improve their teaching.
Meets every other Thursday, from 3:30-4:30 PM beginning on February 11th, 2021. Meetings will be hosted in Zoom. If interested, email rhaddad@georgiasouthern.edu with the following information: Your name, College, Department, Subjects being taught, contact information, and a brief statement reflecting your interest in participating in this FLC.
CTE MyHelp Ticket System
It’s a new year and with it comes changes in the CTE. What hasn’t changed is the CTE’s goal of meeting the professional development needs of faculty in a timely manner. To assist us with this goal, we have adopted the MyHelp ticket system! This new system will replace our previous Teaching Services Request form.
