Lady Macbeth
Macbeth's wife
About the Story
So many visions, visions from guilt. My king is dead, and it's all my fault; though he thinks I am a good man, so he makes me king. Now I have a new enemy, and I can't afford to lose against him. He can't harm me, the witches said so! Or can he...?
Cunning
Lady Macbeth hears that Macbeth has a chance of being king, so she makes a plan to kill the current king so Macbeth can become king.
Sly
Lady Macbeth made the sneaky plan of drugging the guards, killing the king, spreading his blood on the guards, and then hiding the daggers near them.
Deranged
Lady Macbeth had gone mad after her husbands killings of the wife and children of Macduff. She was afraid that she was next. She started to sleepwalk and began to go insane.
Reflection
Response to the Story
I loved learning about Macbeth. I found the quotes fairly easy to remember, but with a lot of practice. Doing Macbeth was a fun way to learn about the times back then (even though it was fictional). I hope we do another unit like this again!
