Generals Connect: Back to School
August 6, 2021
From the Principal’s Desk
Greetings Shiloh Families,
Thank you for a successful start to our school year! We are looking forward to our 8th graders returning to in-person learning Monday, August 9th. I would like to extend a warm welcome to our newly registered scholars and their families to the 2021-2022 school year! We are “100% all in," and we are in this together. Please review the entirety of this newsletter for an upcoming volunteer event sponsored by "All Pro Dads" and other important information that our Parent Instructional Coordinator, Mrs. Fletcher, has included for you.
Because we are 100% all in, we have an opportunity to show the world what a united school community can accomplish. We are Shining at Shiloh! I look forward to the success of our scholars and I thank you in advance for your continued support as we “Level Up” for the best school year ever.
Have a wonderful and restful weekend!
Your Extremely Proud Principal,

Preparation is the Key to Success!
Code Ninjas Snellville is offering a unique opportunity for 60 students in the Shiloh Cluster to experience the world of STEM. Through their CNS60 program, selected students will participate in weekly virtual coding and STEM sessions, as well as a once a month in person STEM activity at the Code Ninjas Snellville location. STEM activities will include robotics, animation, 3D printing, AI and much more with occasional speakers. Only 60 students will be accepted to this program. Registration will open next week and end on August 20th. This program will be free for 60 students between the ages of 10 and 14 enrolled in Shiloh Middle or High school.
Code Ninjas Snellville offers a unique educational program, geared toward teaching computer programming through its engaging, game-based curriculum. Working with students, Code Ninjas capitalizes on students’ love of technology and play by introducing complex concepts through hands-on learning. Students are introduced to programming basics, robotics, app creation, game development, and more as they follow Code Ninjas’ systematic curriculum, designed by coding professionals.
This opportunity will require students to participate in 2 hours of virtual learning after school hours for the entire school year. Students accepted into the program will also participate in an once-a-month, one hour, in-person Saturday session at Code Ninjas in Snellville.
