These summaries are not meant to replace minutes. The minutes for each meeting are approved and posted after the next regularly scheduled meeting. - Construction Update
Dr. Gordon asked Assistant Superintendent for Finance, Facilities and Operations Eric DePorter to provide a construction update and also invited John Eallonardo from FQC to provide some weather related construction updates.
- Long-Range Plan Year 2
Dr. Gordon presented the Year 2 long-range plan. He explained how it presents the overall direction of the district and the adjustments to the Key Performance Indicators after year one. The new LRP Year 2 document will be mailed to all households in the district boundaries.

- Academic Update | watch
Assistant Superintendent for Teaching, Learning and Accountability Dr. Katie McCluskey presented the highlights of the District’s PARCC data. She also explained the difference between assessments including MAP, ISAT, PARCC and the new assessment IAR coming next year replacing PARCC. Communication will come out to parents about IAR to explain that we will not see a real change in the test type until 2021. Click here for the academic update data. The next Academic Update will be at the end of the school year and will include MAP, Spanish literacy, ISEl and the kindergarten extended day program data at Churchill.

- Review of Board Policy 4:20 AP - Fiscal Philosophy | watch
Board member Kurt Buchholz presented the recommendation that was provided to the Board by the Finance Advisory Committee related to fund balance.
- Levy Discussion | watch
Dr. Gordon shared that the district has provided the Board with a number of specific scenarios related to the levy. Mr. DePorter answered Board member questions. There will be a public hearing and a levy recommendation for the Board’s consideration and vote at the December 17 meeting.
