Secondary ELA Update
The end of the year is coming quickly! Please make sure your child has looked through the lost and found and claimed any lost items.
June 12th will be the Elementary Field Day! We will be doing fun activities from approximately 8:30-11am. The day will be filled with competitions, group games and snacks. If you are interested in helping run one of the stations, please reach out to Mr. Graham. You will be taught the activity and have a high school student helper with you.
The Elementary students sent Officer Foust off to the Police Academy with cards and words of wisdom. We are going to miss Officer Foust the rest of the year and look forward to her return next September.
Options Program Update
Our very own, Ransom Grey, won the Junior Boys All-Around Champion at the Tonasket Junior Rodeo! Good job, Ransom! We are so proud of you!
The Options Program went to the Corbin Art Center and studied Laurel Burch. We created our own Laurel Burch artwork and learned about different media. In our enrichment classes, we are learning how to judge livestock, use a computer/google products, make butter and learning how to play cricket! If you are ever in the high school, come see our Rainbow Trout before we release them in Medical Lake in late May! They are getting so big!
Update - Brad Eylar, Director of Security
I wanted to announce that next week our School Resource Officer, Officer Foust, will be attending the full time Basic Law Enforcement Academy. Officer Foust has been proudly serving with the Reardan Police Department and has been in the school all year as our SRO. Officer Foust has already committed to being back next year. She has been an amazing asset to the school, bonding with so many of our students. Officer Foust is a perfect example of what a School Resource Officer can be. Not only is she there to support the mission of Known, Loved, and Learning, but she is a true example of a dedicated protector. My kids go to Reardan and I am always confident they are safe when she is here.
We will all miss her the remainder of the year, but are excited for her adventure this spring and summer. The students and staff wanted to give her a proper send off with a spirit tunnel this morning!
