The recent pen and paper ways of teaching and learning are rapidly disappearing. Educators are faced with new challenges not only in their continuing review of curriculum, but now with utilizing a different form of engaging students. Each individual will become a professional in the field of technology. Educational tools, resources, and applications are multiplying at a rapid pace. Each individual will be faced with developing their own professional learning network (PLN). These are not limited to professions, levels of income, intelligence, but limited only by your own imagination. The profession of teaching is taking on a new role and as our schools' goals of producing students prepared to face the world, educators are finding themselves facing a new world in education.
