Nationally Recognized Speaker to Visit LCHS - Oct. 10-11
CTE Spotlight - Anatomy and Physiology
Mrs. Schaef teaches Anatomy and Physiology. In this class students conduct field and laboratory investigations, use scientific methods during investigations, and make informed decisions using critical-thinking and scientific problem-solving. Students study a variety of topics about the human body that include: functions of various body systems, growth and development, comparison of anatomical structures and physiological functions, homeostasis, energy needs, and the effect of environmental factors.
This week A&P students have participated in a blood drive. LCHS is the second highest donating school in the region! Well done, Pirates!
