Maintaining positive relationships with my friends is good for my social health and gives me someone to talk to when I have difficulties, which supports my mental and emotional health.
Physical Activity
I started running 5 years ago in order to take better care of my body.
Managing Stress
A few years ago, I found that I had developed high blood pressure (which runs in my family). It is important for me to take care of myself by taking my medicine and managing the stress in my life. Studies have found that petting an animal is very calming, so I try to spend time with Milo every day.
Personal Reflection
I try to take time everyday to reflect on how things have gone, recognize the positives, and appreciate the life I have. I think this helps keep me grounded and supports my positive emotional health.
