Principal's Note
Hi Families:
A big thank you for a great first night of family teacher conferences! We had 63 conferences last night and have the rest scheduled for Monday night. As a reminder conferences twice a year is a required communication point for our school in order to strengthen the partnership between school and home; our goal is 100% of our student's families have this required conferences with our staff. If you did not attend, we will continue to reach out until we are able to make contact. Your partnership is appreciated.
Upcoming no-school days:
- Wednesday, Nov. 25th - No School for students or staff
- Thursday, Nov. 26th - No School for students or staff
- Friday, Nov. 27th - No School for students or staff
COVID update:
Living during a pandemic is challenging - everything requires additional steps and precautions. The balance of keeping things safe and keeping things "normal" is exhausting; we know and are here with you to support and stay stronger together. After Thanksgiving break, we will be welcoming back a handful of families from virtual learning back to face to face instruction. We will be working with returning students and families to get them acquainted with safety protocols such as masks, temperatures in the morning, multi-door entry, and wash in-wash out procedures.
The best thing you can do to support our school in keeping the doors open for all is to:
- keep your children home when they are sick
- keep your children home if you have a pending COVID test result for an in-home family member
We are here to be your partner in education and we are honored to work with YOU and your children everyday!
