6th Grade Weekly Newsletter
Mrs. LaForte, Mrs. Mitchell, and Mrs. Richardson
*MTCS 4th-12th grade parents and students,
It’s that time of year again. Mr. Mathis will be offering another Hunter Safety Course in a couple of weeks (week of January 25th). Tennessee requires the course for all hunters over the age of 9 (unless you were born before 1969). Most other states require proof of certification to purchase an out of state license. THIS CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION IN TRAP! We offer a class this time of year especially for students who are participating in trap in the spring and still need the certification although anyone is welcome to take the class! Pre-registration is required using the on-line form accessible with the following link: https://www.register-ed.com/events/view/73106 You can find all the details of the class schedule using the link above. There is no cost to the class but it does last all week. Also feel free to email Rob Mathis if you have any further questions. This class is open to everyone so invite your friends or family but Mr. Mathis will have to limit enrollment to about 25 because of space and time constraints.
