His spouse was Martha Washington from 1759 to 1799. But although they did not have kids, Martha brought in her two children, John Parke Custis and Martha Parke Cutis, from her previous marriage.
Why is he so important?
Well, he is important because he was the first president ever during the American Revolutionary War who serve two terms from 1789 to 1797.
